2010 DeafRead Blogroll and Its Collective of V/Blogs

This is a funny joke for DeafRead.com... I republish this with the additional two vlogs with their view and suggestion how to improve DeafRead. They are Auslan Resource and Deaf Tea Time. DeafRead Team, please we love you too much that we would like to see the improvement and cherish the time together some more!! Some more ever!!! PLEASE! ;D

In February = the All may show the average of 55+/-

In July = the All will be show the average of ?

February 2010 = the All will be show the average of 300 +/-!

So, what does DeafRead Blogroll look like in February 2010?? Ok, let me demonstrate you what it will look like...

Sorry, you gotta look in video to understand! ;D

DeafRead V/Blogger Recognition

Time is 5.16 minutes.

I tried to use the older message in my v/blog file to put in DeafRead.com, but I could not!! I find them as if I wrote a dairy on my view as it was. Right now I am writing this as a fresh message, because that is how I feel about writing currently. I have asked someone for some ideas, and this person could not help me with this, because this person assured that I had a lot of ideas what I could do for my v/blogs. Ah, umm..

Hmm..

Well, what idea?

Oh, yes...grinning. Perhaps, it is the time for me to mention this. Recognition. You have to understand that I am a stay at home mom for my three kids. I drive my kids to three different schools every school day fro and back. I do the chores at home, shop for food and clothes, and attend the meetings. I see my friends at their homes, but not at deaf club, because not possible with my kids nowadays. So, whenever I go to deaf club (rarely), or work, I could see the people I work with or chat with that they are aware of my public v/blog. Their faces look somewhat different, lol. I think it is funny.

Funny thing, I do not talk about my v/blog, because usually, I do not talk a lot. I would talk whenever it is important to talk about during current situations or events.

So, on Christmas Day, my sister made me to tell my family about my v/blog. I realized, oh, gosh, I am supposed to tell someone or anyone about my v/blog, because it is a public v/blog. Yes, it was awkward for me to tell my family about my v/blog. I haven't informed most of my Deaf friends. I plan to inform them eventually, not urgent, smile.

Again, those information I had shared with you, DeafRead fans, would not have mentioned here, because I do not have time to even mention to anyone else. Some favorite stories, like Car accident, Most Embarrassed Moment, Deaf J & Embarrassed Big Time, in my v/blog are rarely mentioned here. So, I am honored to share those stories with ya, my Deaf people, and yeah, the public! ;)

Drive Thru Service Reasons

To The Fast Restaurant Workers:

Why drive thru service instead of walking inside the fast restaurants? Tons of reasons!

NUMBER ONE is we have a right as any other customer!

Then there are more:

~ Too many small kids

~ Not feeling well, uncomfortable

~ In a hurry for errands, or meetings

~ Opps, dirty clothes

~ New or Old Injury that bothers walking

~ Bad Hair Day, ew!

~ Raining Day, ugh

~ Brrrr, too cold to go out of the car

~ Take the food for someone else

~ Worn out, ready to bum out

~ Got a sick passenger

~ You name it

There is no excuse for us not come into the restaurants, but what about those hearing people? They have no excuse, too.

Well, we pay for the food. Don't you want our money and our faithfulness?? Do not bully us around. That is called Audism! I just put the link for anyone who is not familiar with the word, Audism.

Thank you,

My DeafRead Tidbits...01/25/08

For your information, I plan to redo this video. It will come out soon. (typed at 9am Saturday) kk Done at 10am EST kk

Hello, Guys and Gals ~

Here I am again with DeafRead Tidbits... Everything nice and positive here, I promise! :D

There is a lot, A LOT of blogs and vlogs going on on DeafRead that I do not recall reading that much prior this year, 2008. In 2007, remember that, eh?, the average v/blogs were bringing in more or less 30 per 24 hours a day! Yeah? Right now, the average is about, yeah, 55 per 24 hours a day. I could see the difference in DeafRead's of 2007 and 2008, and YET, it is only January. What would happen in February, and what would it looks like? Or even in July???

Deafhood was bringing out once again by Joey Baer. Paddy Ladd was interviewed by Joey, and I was impressed how Paddy felt toward Deafhood as of today. Very good insightful source. There are four of five came out. I am waiting for the fifth video... They are Interview with Dr. Paddy Ladd Part 1, Interview with Dr. Paddy Ladd Part 2 , Interview with Dr. Paddy Ladd Part 3 , and Interview with Dr. Paddy Ladd Part 4. I like Part 3, because Dr. Ladd shared his feelings and view on Deafhood usage in America. Part 1 had Paddy described his life story, and got a lot of comments. Part 2 described how the Deafhood is coined. Part 4 reported that Deafhood is used anywhere else, not limited to England. I have heard Deaf people were concerned of reading the book. I was relieved to find out that not only me that was having hard time reading the book. I would like to see a study book, or worksheet book that accompany with this book. Worksheet book is much needed, but how? Who could create this worksheet book? If I ever meet Dr. Ladd, I will ask that question definitely!

UPDATE: The fifth video came out! Interview With Dr. Paddy Ladd Part 5

I was impressed with Mishka Zena blog that Elizabeth continues her mission on C.I. I would not ever touch this subject in my life... perhaps twenty years later, but definitely not this life! She presented the reactions of Deaf people on CI, both positive and negative. I think it is healthy discussion. Good for her. Here is the link, Result of Cochlear Implant Survey. Now, it is only I would ever share anything with anyone.

Pepsi Advertising! Good for the company!! About the time! Too bad the surprise is spoiled. I saw the preview of the TV commercial!! Sigh. I wish I did not see that TV commercial.... Yes, I think that famous Deaf joke becoming a reality is kewt, smile.

Karen and that delicious, but unavailable shake. Wow, the Fox new company took action and reported on the incident, awesome! Good for her. There are a lot of v/blogs talking about this issue. You see, that is a lot information at once. Same thing for Pepsi.

I could go on reporting a few more, but I know you guys, you only wanna a few minutes from here, smile.
